We know that spending time in nature has a powerful impact on mental health and wellbeing. Natural environments can help reduce stress, lift mood, and encourage a sense of calm and belonging.
For young people, being outdoors offers a welcome break from daily pressures and opens up new ways to express themselves, build confidence, and form meaningful connections.

At More Than a Thought, we use our permanent green space as more than just a backdrop – it’s an active part of our approach. Through outdoor therapy sessions, group activities, hands-on projects, and just, being you. We harness the restorative qualities of nature to help you and your young person feel grounded and supported. Whether it’s exploring the garden, taking part in creative sessions under the trees, or simply finding a quiet spot to reflect, we believe that nature offers unique opportunities for healing and growth.
